Transit Visa Consulting

Sticker Visa vs. E-Visa

We process transit visas worldwide, offering full support for two primary formats depending on your destination's regulations:

  • Sticker Visas: These are traditional physical visas stamped or glued securely onto a blank page of your passport by a consulate. We guide you through document preparation, booking consular appointments, and safe courier deliveries.
  • E-Visas (Electronic): A faster, digital alternative where the visa is linked to your passport electronically. We manage the online applications, biometrics coordination, and ensure instantaneous compliance without giving up your physical passport.

What is a transit visa for?

A transit visa is a short-term permit that legalizes your stay in a foreign country while traveling to a third country. It does not grant the right to reside or work; it only permits transit travel or a layover.

When is it strictly required?

You will need to apply for a transit visa if:

  • Re-checking baggage: You have a layover but need to collect your baggage and check in again, which requires passing through border control.
  • Extended layover: Your layover duration exceeds the allowed time (in many European countries, this means over 24 hours or overnight when transit zones close).
  • Airport change: Your connection involves moving between two different airports within the same country or the Schengen zone.
  • Overland transit: You are traveling by car, bus, or train and crossing the land borders of a visa-requiring country.
  • Citizenship: Certain nationalities are uniformly required to hold an Airport Transit Visa (Type A), even if they do not leave the aircraft or airport transit area.

Required Documents (Core List)

To obtain a transit visa, the following documents are typically required:

  • Valid Passport: Must be valid for at least 3 months beyond your planned exit date from the transit country, featuring at least two blank pages.
  • Ongoing Travel Tickets: Confirmed flight, train, or bus tickets covering the entirety of your route to the final destination.
  • Destination Visa: A valid visa, residence permit, or entry clearance for your final destination country, if applicable.
  • Completed Application Form: Along with recent biometric photographs.
  • Travel Medical Insurance: A policy covering your stay for the entire duration of the transit.
  • Proof of Funds: Recent bank statements confirming you have sufficient funds available for the duration of the layover.
  • Accommodation Booking: Confirmed hotel reservation if your transit involves an overnight stay.
